  • Its truthful to say that at no point in ones life do they stop undergoing the process of discovery. Of the universe, or of the self.

My question is,… does it REALLY have to take that long? =(

  • We are like caterpillars and life is our food. It takes time for our souls to process what we consume to change us into the butterflies we are meant to be.

  • short answer….yes :)

You are very intelligent, so at what point do you think you’ll know everything? Never, like…ever. There have been moments in my life where my brain was so open to receive information that I got very close to overloading it. We couldn’t possible handle all that information, yet we can get a sense of the whole on a level beyond that of the known conversation the mind has with itself. I say “sense”, because that’s the closest describable word. It’s an “All knowing” moment or experience.
As you get older and continue the journey, it gets weirder. Even more people will seek your council, you will have a grasp on so many things yet……you wont really know shit. Here’s the spiritual rub….The more you learn, the less you know. You’ll just know more and more than most so that people think and you may even think, you have really got it down, but you wont…lol
You are an explorer my friend. Sometimes we pull into different universal ports and rest. Perhaps that’s where you are or what you need. Then we dive back into it only to discover….the Multiverse.

  • It only takes an instant to be prent in the moment…only the moment is real.

I am surprised that you would be misled by thoughts of the past, or future…by how long the path has been…by how much longer it may be.  The past and the future exist only in your mind, clearly…if you think about it.  When your mind speaks to you of experiencing things, and developing your consciousness until you reach the now in the future, laugh at it!  Thinking about reaching present moment consciousness at some point in the future is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!  Waiting for now…or somehow doing something that will bring you to now…or a certain amount of experiencing that will lead you to your true self at some point in the furture…that is crazy.  And of course it is crazy because it all comes from the egoic mind…which is crazy by nature…

The only time you are not your true self is when you are identifying with your egoic mind.  When you are presently conscious you are not egoic…the egoic mind cannot operate in the now…because the egoic mind is not real…and the moment is real.  Anything to do with time…the past…the future…is not real ,and comes from the egoic mind.  Notice that the egoic mind tries as hard as it can to trick you into believing that you have to do something, or pass a certain amount of time, or evolve, before you can be presently conscious.  In fact, it creates the past and the future for you so that it will always exist…it has to perpetuate itself.  Your belief in the past and the future is essential to the survival for the egoic mind.  Many teachers teach this also…that it takes years of spiritual practice…that you must follow the spiritual path for a long time…that only a few can reach…that is because if they told you that all you have to do is be presently conscious you wouldn’t need a teacher anymore.  The ego must be needed…to solve problems…like how long does it take to exist now?

This concerns a quantum leap…there is no traveling from one point to another…there is no passing of time.  Eternity is not the infinite passage of time…the moment is eternal…eternity is the eternal now.  Now do you remember…time does not exist?
