The Universe 3.0
(Startup noises)
[Myself:] Huh?
[Unknown Voice:] Hello, and welcome to The Universe 3.0. …[Myself:] O.o!?
[Unknown Voice:] In this version of The Universe, users are able to…[Myself:] Woah. Wait a second. … 3.0? I thought the ‘dream realm’ was the 4th Dimension. Or is this something else?
[Unknown Voice:] The Universe 3.0 is… (interrupted)
[My Roomate:] Hey. Its 10:55pm. Are we going to have lunch later?
(Wakes Up)
[Myself:] Huh?
[My Roomate:] Lunch. … Later. … And why are you still sleeping?
[Myself:] … X(…
On the morning that I have no morning class, and I decide to sleep in, I experience the very beginning of what could have been a potentially strange dream,… and I owe it to my roommate for waking me up. I tried to go back to sleep, hoping to invoke the same dream so I could perhaps continue it somehow, but alas… I’ll never get it back…
The picture above is a Photoshop re-creation of the ‘splash screen’ I saw in my dream. Its odd, because I’ve seen a Youtube video a month ago about how ‘Culture is our Operating System’. For example, if I were, say for instance, installed with American Positivism 1.0, then I would be fully compatible with logic-based software, and Capitalism plug-in-play compatibility. However, I am incompatible with Faith 2.5-based software, a competitive rival to the Socialism 4.5-graphics-engine, and my anti-virus detects Aliens 2.1 and Supernatural Things 3.9 to be malware. … (This is just an example of how culture would function if it were an OS)
Anyhow, … here’s to a strange dream that I will never get back, thanks to my roommate.
